On June 21, organized by CAAM and co-organized by Zhangwu People’s Government, 2019 China auto parts CT30 workshop was held in Zhangwu, Liaoning province. Focused on the status of China auto parts industry, the transformation and upgrading under new industrial change and the international strategies of enterprises, the workshop was hosted by Mr. Shi Jianhua, the Deputy Secretary General of CAAM. Over 90 guests attended the workshop, including Mr. Yang Jingzhong, the Head of Zhangwu County and other related government leaders as well as CT30 members, related corporate representatives and media.

　　Mr. Shi Jianhua, the Deputy Secretary General of CAAM, firstly introduced the guests present; then informed the situation of China automotive industry of which its influencing factors, development trends as well as this year’s market were briefly analyzed. Mr. Yang Jingzhong, the Head of Zhangwu County, made a speech on behalf of Zhangwu government to introduce the business and investment environment as well.

　　On the meeting, Mr. Ni Chuan, the Director General of CAAM Clutch Committee, Mr. Gu Yifan, the Former Secretary General of CAAM Brake System Committee and Mr. Chen Weijun, the Secretary General of CAAM Wheel Committee delivered keynote speeches on the status of clutch industry and brake system as well as international strategies respectively.

　　In the interaction section, the 33 enterprises present introduced each operating situation, the problems facing, and strategies adopted. Meanwhile, the representatives carried out discussions on two themes, namely “How to transform and break the situation facing negative growth of the automotive industry” and “How to grasp the opportunities to achieve international strategy”, to exchange views and put forward opinions for the development of Chinese brand auto parts.

　　During the meeting, Mr. Du Daofeng, the Director of CAAM Parts Department, made explanations on CT30 membership change. It had been unanimously approved by all existing CT30 representatives that 10 enterprises, including Huayu Vision Technology (Shanghai), became the new members of CT30.

　　At the end, Mr. Shi Jianhua, the Deputy Secretary General of CAAM, made a summary. He pointed out that CT30 members should seek new growth points in perspective of stock market, like vehicle modification business. Besides, the members should strengthen technical communication and cooperation to accelerate the formulation of group standards in key areas. Regarding to the current industrial situation, Mr. Shi Jianhua proposed that CAAM would build more platforms to strengthen the coordination between whole vehicle manufacturers and parts enterprises to improve their relationship, so that to promote the transformation and upgrading of China auto parts enterprises.
