Invited by OICA, CAAM representatives attended OICA GEVA meeting in Paris on June 5 to 7. More than 30 associations/well-known companies participated in, including CAAM, VDA, JAMA, ACEA and so on. For China, two companies participated in as well, which were Huawei and Neusoft.

　　The meeting mainly discussed the implementation and revision of UN regulations on ICV to summarize each country’s proposals and pose revising suggestions on current issues of GSR, AEBS, PTI, ALKS, Cyber Security, OTA, etc.

　　On the meeting, Dr. Wang Yao, the Director of CAAM Technology Department, was appointed as the co-chair of OICA GEVA working group. He informed the status of ICV in China, also the future thinking to the group.

　　Participants of the conference spoke highly of the development of ICV in China in recent years. In future, they hoped to further communicate with CAAM regarding to how to achieve the commercialization of ICVs in 5G era. Meanwhile, OICA thanked CAAM for the support in related works; and wished CAAM could continue to play well the link function in world automotive regulations and standards to hear more advice from Chinese enterprises.
