Automotive Products Export Certification Testing Technology and Certified Detection Platform Service Promotion Conference was held by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) in Shanghai An’ ting International Automobile City Exhibition Center on October 18, 2010. Mr. Shi Yonghong, director of Ministry of Commerce of China, Mr. Wang Kun, director of Certification and Accreditation Administration of the people’s Republic of China (CNCA) and Mr. Ye Shengji, assistant secretary general of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), Mr. Xu Haidong, Trade Department Director of CAAM, Mrs. Zhang Meiju, Network Department Director of CAAM, Mr. Huang Zhongrong, director of Shanghai Motor Vehicle inspection Center and Mr. Cang Xuejun, deputy director of Shanghai Motor Vehicle inspection Center, nearly 170 domestic and foreign representatives attended the conference.
 

The theme of the conference is about how to meet export demand and promote industrial development; according to the situation, promote export certification for motor vehicles, to help businesses to solve technical trade barriers abroad, reduce export costs and improve product competitiveness in international markets.
       

Mr. Ye shengji on behalf of the organizer made a speech. He voiced that Automotive Products Export Certification Testing Platform is a public tech service platform for the whole society. The construction of the platform is significance.
       

Automotive Products Export Certification Testing Platform was launched at the seminar. This platform includes the database of global typical automotive standards, and motor vehicle laboratory which comply with regulatory requirements and are internationally recognized.
