2011 china automotive industry situation seminar sponsored by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) held in Beijing on January 7, 2011. Chief leaders from Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Finance People's Republic of China, China National Machinery Industry Corporation and China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) attended the meeting.
        Mr. Dong Yang, executive vice chairman and secretary general of CAAM hosted the meeting.
        The main topics of this meeting included three aspects: First, forecasted the development trend of automobile industry in 2011 ; Second, the policy and standards which are in studying or will be promulgated in 2011; third, requirements to the CAAM and automotive enterprises in 2011.
