2011 OICA China Forum Held by CAAM and OICA in Shanghai

2011 OICA China Forum was held by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) and International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA) in Shanghai during April 19 to 20, 2011.

Mr. Su Bo, Vice Minister of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and leaders from Mofcom、MIIT、MOST、china automotive industry T10、international automotive industry,as well as members from OICA and CAAM, nearly 500 peoples attended the meeting.

The forum consists of three parts, they are closed-door Summit、main forum and three special forum. During the forum, participants explored the energy saving, low-carbon development and other important issues that facing the world auto industry.
        The closed-door Summit was held on April 19, and its theme was the development of China’s automobile industry and industrial policy during low-carbon age. Mr. Dong Yang, executive vice chairman and secretary general of CAAM hosted the meeting.

The main forum was held on the morning of April 20. First, Mr. Dong Yang made a speech, and then Mr. Zhang Zhihong, deputy director of MOST made a keynote speech on behalf of MSOT.

Three special forums was held on the afternoon of April 20, and topics were traditional automobile energy saving and technology innovation, development of new energy vehicles and electrification of vehicles and key auto parts.
