During September 26 to 28, 2011, the first conference of market coordination was held by CAAM in Changchun with the purpose to give full play to the committee role and further improve and perfect it’s work mechanism. FAW - Volkswagen Sales Co., Ltd. hosted the conference.

Mr. Dong Yang, executive vice chairman and secretary general of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), Mr. Shi Jianhua, vice secretary general of CAMM, Mr. Xu Haidong, director of Trade Coordination Department of CAAM, and  vice president and department heads of marketing and sales from auto companies that a total of 40 delegates attended the meeting. Mr. Shi Jianhua and Mr. Xu Haidong co-chaired the meeting.
        Mr. Dong Yang made a speech during the meeting.
        The meeting decided on the market trade commission's organizational structure, unanimously adopted the "regulations on the market trade commission", cleared the direction and focus, and laid the foundation for the future work
