The inaugural meeting of automotive industry standards and regulations working committee was held by CAAM in Beijing. on December 7,2011.Representatives from FAW,DFMC,SAIC,CHANGAN,BAIC,GAGC,Brilliance-auto,SINOTRUCK,Chery,JAC,Geely,GWM,BYD, FOTON, YUTONG, SHAANXI Automobile group, CAMC, and experts of automobile industry attended the meeting.
        Mr. Ye Shengji, vice secretary general of CAAM hosted the meeting.
        Mr. Ye Shengji first described the purpose, significance and background of setting up the committee, gave a brief review of the history and achievement of Chinese automotive industry standards and technical regulations system since reform and opening，and think that Chinese automotive industry standards and technical regulations work made important contributions to promote the development of Chinese automobile industry.
        The Conference adopted the constitution of the committee, and confirmed the Basic purpose, organization, job responsibilities, major tasks, activities in the form, and also formulated the work plan of the committee.
