The Seventh Session of the Sixth Standing Council Meeting of CAAM was Held in Beijing

The Seventh Session of the sixth Standing Council Meeting of CAAM was held in Beijing on Apr 19th, 2012. 79 delegates including Mr. Hu Maoyuan, Chairman of CAAM, and standing directors attended the meeting. Mr. Dong Yang, Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General, presided the meeting.

The general election working group delivered a report about their preparations for the coming election. The delegates approved “the work report of the sixth standing council meeting by CAAM”. The delegates all agreed to submit “the work report”, “the financial report”, “the selection method of representatives”, “revision draft and statement of regulations”, “the election method”, “the recommended list of Chairman, Vice Chairman, Honorary Chairman, Secretary General and Deputy Secretary General”, and “the recommended list of scrutineers” to the First Session of 7th Member's Representative Assembly and Council Enlarged Meeting of CAAM.

The representatives also approved “the Medium and Long Term Development Program of CAAM”, “the Self-discipline Agreement of China Automobile Industry” and “Proposal on the Adjustment of Branches of CAAM”. The first two proposals were agreed to submit to the First Session of 7th Member's Representative Assembly and Council Enlarged Meeting of CAAM.

The meeting determined to release “the Development Program of Automobile Industry during the 12th Five Year Plan” during the First Session of 7th Member's Representative Assembly and Council Enlarged Meeting of CAAM.
        The meeting also wished a great success to the First Session of 7th Member's Representative Assembly and Council Enlarged Meeting of CAAM.
