On Nov. 29th, 2012, Mr. Ye Shengji, the Deputy Secretary General of CAAM, met with Mr. Steinmetz, the Vice President of Global Auto Business of Solvay and the Chairman of Automobile Plastics and Novel Materials Committee of SECMA, and Mr. Huang Haobo, the Frontier Market Director of Engineering Plastics of Rhodia Polyamide (Shanghai) Limited Corporation. 

Firstly, Mr. Ye Shengji introduced the basic situation of China’s auto industry and CAAM. Meanwhile, he approved of the current developing scale and industrial position of Solvay Rhodia in chemical industry. Also, Mr. Ye Shengji expressed his appreciation for its positive efforts and achievements on research and application of auto technology.
        Then, Mr. Steinmetz introduced their sales and production situation as well as the situation of research and development on a global scale. Besides, he explained their lightweight technique to reduce carbon emission and LRRT technique.
        Mr. Ye Shengji suggested that Solvay Rhodia could develop substantial exchange and cooperation with CAAM to make positive contributions to the development and progress of Chinese auto technology.
        Mr. Li Shaohua, the Director of Industry Development Department, and Mr. He Peng, the Deputy Director of Technology Department, accompanied to attend the meeting.
