On April 24th, 2013, Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General Mr. Dong Yang and Deputy Secretary General Ms. Xu Yanhua met with three visitors of Alcoa. They were Mr. Kay Meggers, Executive Vice President of Alcoa and President of Alcoa China Rolled Products, Mr. Chen Jinya, Vice President of Alcoa and President of Alcoa Asia-Pacific, and Ms. Huang Zhixiang, Vice President of Alcoa Asia-Pacific.

First, Mr. Dong Yang introduced the basic situation of CAAM. Then, based on the issues of energy, environment and transportation, he put forward his opinions on the prospect of the development of Chinese auto market from different perspectives, including sales and production, vehicle in use and industrial policies.
        Besides, CAAM and Alcoa made communications on technologies and policies that had been adopted in both Chinese and America auto industry to realize lightweight, energy conservation and emission reduction and safety improvement. They also made exchanges on how to push forward automobile lightweight and miniaturization in China in future.
