China Automobiles T10 Electric Cars Workshop Held in Beijing

China Automobiles T10 Electric Vehicles Workshop was held in Beijing in April in 2013. T10 leading group members and working group members as well as some relevant people of Beijing Nonferrous Metal Research Institute (hereafter to be referred as BNMRI) attended this meeting.

The participating leaders included the Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Dong Yang, the Deputy General Manager of FAW Group Mr. Wu Shaoming, the Deputy General Manager of GAIG Mr. Huang Xiangdong, the Director of DFM New Energy Mr. Huang Zhaoqin, the General Manager of SAIC New Energy Mr. Gan Pin, the General Manager of Changan New Energy Mr. Ren Yong, the Deputy General Manager of JAC Mr. Yan Gang, the Assistant Chief Engineer of BAIC Mr. Lin Yi, the General Manager of Chery New Energy Mr. Liu Xinwen, the Section Chief of Brilliance Auto Mr. Li Jingwei, the Director of Sinotruk Mr. Liu Guoqing and the Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Ye Shengji,etc.
        The meeting was hosted by Mr. Ye Shengji.

On the meeting, Mr. Dong Yang briefly introduced the development of electric vehicles and informed the main contents of two important meetings, which were “Symposium on the Development of New Energy” held in February and “Research Institute for Power Battery of Chinese Automobiles (hereinafter referred as to Institute) Meeting” held in March. Meanwhile, he made explanations on the background, capital structure and estimated profit model of the Institute.
        Mr. Xiong Baiqing, the Vice President of BNMRI, introduced the development of the agency. Mr. Lu Shigang, the Assistant Chief Engineer of BNMRI, gave a detailed report on the overall plan of constructing the Institute. And Mr. Guo Chuntai, the General Manager of JEVE, was invited to explain the feasibility of joint ventures on Lithium-ion battery. In addition, Mr. He Peng, the Deputy Director of Technology Department of CAAM, gave a brief introduction about the communication and exploration of hybrid vehicles.
        Given the overall plan of the Institute and joint ventures, the participating leaders carried out deep exchanges and discusses on issues concerning the construction of the Institute and joint venture on power batteries.
