On Jul. 22nd, 2013, the Deputy Secretary General Mr. Shi Jianhua met with the guests from Michigan Economic Development Corporation, who were the Vice President of International Business Development Mr. Mark Kinsler, the Director of Export Program Ms. Deanna Richeson, the Business Attraction Manager (China) Mr. Brian Connors and the International Trade Development Manager (China) Ms. Lu Weiwei.

Mr. Mark Kinsler introduced the current situation of Michigan auto industry and Chinese automobile enterprises in Michigan. He also introduced Michigan's investment environment as well as Michigan Governor Delegation’s visit to China in September.
    Then, Mr. Shi Jianhua gave an overall introduction about the basic situation of CAAM and the status of Chinese auto industry.
    In addition, the two sides carried on communications and exchanges on the promotion of investment and cooperation between Chinese and American automobile enterprises as well as made discussions on the possible ways to cooperate with each other in the future.
    The Director of Trade Coordination Department Mr. Xu Haidong and the Business Manager of International Cooperation Department Ms. Liu Zheng accompanied to attend the meeting.
