On the afternoon of Sep. 10th, the Deputy Secretary General Mr. Shi Jianhua met with the Executive Vice President of Corporate Public and Environment Affairs of Volvo Group Mr. Niklas Gustavsson, the President of Volvo China Mr. Chen Ranfeng, the Director of Public Affairs and CSR of Volvo China Mr. Huang Zheng and their party. This was the first time for Volvo Group to visit CAAM after it became the member unit.

Mr. Niklas Gustavsson firstly introduced the development situation of Volvo Group in recent years, and also showed their great importance to the Chinese market.
        Mr. Shi Jianhua welcomed their visit and introduced the main work and function of CAAM. Both sides took in-depth communication on commercial vehicles and new energy vehicles which Volvo concerned most. Then, Mr. Shi Jianhua introduced the operations of the auto industry in the first half year and the prospect of the development of auto market. In this respect, Volvo also expressed their confidence for the sustainable development of Chinese auto industry.

Mr. Shi Jianhua issued membership certificate to Mr. Niklas Gustavsson at the end of the meeting. He hoped Volvo would be able to actively take part in all kinds of industrial activities organized by CAAM to enhance mutual communication, thus making contributions to the sound development of Chinese auto industry.
