On August 9th, 2013, 2013 Annual Meeting & Development Forum of Clutch Committee of CAAM was held in Changchun. Representatives of the related members, enterprises and agencies attended this meeting.
        This year annual meeting represents the end of the sixth council and the year of changing the leadership. On the meeting, Changchun Yidong Clutch Co., Ltd was elected as the seventh Secretary General Unit.

The Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Ye Shengji attended the meeting and made a speech. He firstly extended his congratulations to the open of the meeting, his affirmations on works done by the sixth council, as well as his sincere thanks for their hard workings.

In his speech, Mr. Ye Shengji briefly introduced the development of the automotive industry as well as analyzed the trends and the challenges, especially the development of Chinese brand and auto parts. They had to face the severe situation due to weaken fundamentals, inadequate self-innovation and lack of core techniques. Thus, there were still lots of works to be done and a long way to go in order to realize the construction of the auto power.
        Mr. Ye Shengji also gave some advice and suggestions on the work of branches. He pointed out that the government agencies now were carrying out reforms to simplify administrative procedures and delegate powers to lower levels. In this way, the function of industrial management could be transferred to those equivalent associations. Thus, how to better manage and serve the industry became the important responsibility and mission of CAAM. Meanwhile, he expressed that the branches were the crucial supporters of the Secretariat. They should focus on basic research, policy research, plan formation, standard construction and construction of communication platform so as to promote the technical innovation.
        During this session, Mr. Ye Shengji conducted an investigation to Northeast Industries Group Co., Ltd and its subsidiaries, which was given a warm reception by Mr. Jiang Tao, the corporate Vice General Manager and Secretary General of Clutch Committee and his party. Some related staff of Northeast Industries Group and the Director of Member Services Department of CAAM Ms. Li Guixin accompanied to participate in this investigation.
