On Sep. 17th, 2013, the 9th China (Liangshan) Special Purpose Exhibition was opened at industrial zone in Liangshan county of Shandong province, which was jointly organized by CAAM and Liangshan people's government. The Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Shi Jianhua attended the opening ceremony and proclaimed the opening of the exhibition.

The exhibition venue was located in the industrial zone of Liangshan county around which dozens of special purpose vehicles manufacturers and auto parts enterprises gathered. With convenient transportation and well-equipped supporting facilities, like communications, water supply, power supply, etc. the venue was an ideal place for special purpose vehicles and auto parts manufacturers to exhibit their new technologies and new products. Suitable for large-scale exhibition, the venue covered a total area of 30,000 square meters, of which 10,000 square meters for indoor area and 20,000 square meters for outdoors. Over 600 booths could be provided. This exhibition was not only a platform for Liangshan special purpose vehicle industry to show its industrial advantage and development potential, but also a carrier for such enterprises to carry out trade negotiations. Through this exhibition, trades among domestic and foreign special purpose vehicles manufacturers, auto parts manufacturers, automotive trade companies and other related industries would be strengthened; meanwhile communications and cooperation on technology, personnel, resource and information would be deepened as well.
