On November 11th, 2013, the Deputy Secretary General Mr. Shi Jianhua met with the Manager of IMaCS Mr. Hemal N Thakkar, the Lead Consultant of IMaCS Mr. Abhishek Nandi Roy and the Manager of Maruti Suzuki Mr. Ashish Chutani.

 Mr. Shi Jianhua firstly introduced the current situation and future trends of Chinese auto industry as well as some facing problems during development, such as environmental pollution, energy supply, and traffic congestion. Then, the Director Mr. Xu Haidong talked about issues on Chinese brand, employee training and automobile export. Next, the Deputy Director Mr. He Peng introduced the development of Chinese new energy vehicles.
        The Indian side expressed their willingness to strengthen cooperation with CAAM to jointly promote the development of auto industry in China and India.
        The Business Managers of International Cooperation Department Ms. Chang Xiaoyan and Ms. Liu Zheng accompanied to attend this meeting.
