On the afternoon of Nov. 12th, 2013, the 8th sodality of foreign auto companies in China was held in Beijing. Co-organized by Nissan (China), there were altogether 19 foreign auto companies attending this meeting. Some leaders also participated in, which were the Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Dong Yang, the Director of Department of Industry of NDRC Mr. Li Gang and the Director of Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau Mr. Li Kunsheng. The meeting was hosted by the Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Shi Jianhua.

On the meeting, the representatives carried out deep discusses on hot issues concerning auto market environment, anti-monopoly, start-stop technology, oil consumption management procedures, Shanghai free trade zone and new energy vehicles. They hoped the government could implement policies beneficial for the enterprise to carry on strategic planning and long-term development. Besides, they hoped the government could strengthen the construction of charging infrastructures so as to push forward the development of electric vehicles.

In the end, Mr. Dong Yang made a summary. He expressed that CAAM will pay more efforts to improve this communicating platform. He hoped all those foreign companies could take an active part in this meeting.
        The Deputy Secretaries General of CAAM Mr. Li Wanli, Ms. Xu Yanhua, Mr. Li Jingsheng, Ms. Liu Xiaomiao also participated in this meeting.
