On Dec. 26th, 2013, the Market and Trade Committee of CAAM held its working meeting on annual situation analysis and forecast in Beijing. More than 20 participants attended this meeting, including department directors of CAAM and representatives of auto manufacturers, like SAIC, BAIC, etc. The meeting was hosted by the Director of Trade Coordination Department Mr. Xu Haidong. The Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Shi Jianhua attended this meeting as well.

The meeting mainly analyzed the annual domestic sales and production as well as predicted the growing trend of next year. The secretariat of the Committee firstly made comparison between last year’s forecast and this year’s actual situation. This year, the domestic auto market kept a good momentum. The sales and production of related models were all slightly higher than expected.

Then, the representatives carried out deep discussions on domestic macro economy, enterprises’ development, factors influencing market and future development. They also gave their own expectations of next year.
