On the afternoon of Jan. 9th, 2014, CAAM held a press conference in Beijing. The Director of Information Department of CAAM Mr. Chen Shihua released the data of 2013. The Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Shi Jianhua introduced the auto market situation of 2013. He also analyzed the market trend of 2014. The Director of National Bureau of Statistics Mr. Tang Youcheng introduced the operation of Chinese auto industry in the fourth quarter of 2013. The Assistant Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Li Bin gave an introduction about Chinese motorcycle industry. The Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Li Jingsheng introduced 2014 China Auto Forum which will be held on April 21st to 22nd, 2014. Besides, Mr. Shi Jianhua, Mr. Li Jingsheng and Mr. Yao Jie answered reporters’ questions concerning industrial hot issues.

The press conference was hosted by Mr. Shi Jianhua. Over 80 Medias attended this conference, including Xinhua News Agency, CCTV, etc.

On the press conference, Mr. Li Jingsheng introduced the basic situation of 2014 China Auto Forum. The theme of 2014 China Auto Forum would be “Automotive Industry of China and the World under New Economic Transition----Trend, Challenge & Strategy”. This year, APEC AD would also join this Forum. The Forum would be composed of three major parts: Closed-Door Summit, Main Forum and Seminars. In the Forum, we would held in-depth discussion on new strategies, ways and hopes for auto industry development in China and the world, look ahead into the future of China and the world auto industries, and explore directions for harmonious development of the auto industry and the society under new economic transition. Moreover, a series of hotspots and subjects concerning auto industry would be highlighted. So did their related solutions. In this way, we were going to make this Forum the most attractive one.
