On April 4th, 2014, the Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General Mr. Dong Yang, the Deputy Secretary General Mr. Shi Jianhua and the Deputy Secretary General Mr. Ye Shengji met with the guests from Continental China. They were President & CEO Dr. Ralf Cramer, Executive Assistant of President Mr. Zhu Hui, Vice President of Government Relation & Services Mr. Zhou Liqun and Senior Manager of Government Relation & Services Ms. Zhang Yan.

It was the first time for Continental to visit CAAM, aiming at strengthening the communication and building a long-term relationship. Dr. Ralf Cramer firstly introduced the basic situation of Continental and its China branch. As an international leading automotive supplier, tire producer and industry partner, Continental is committed to make driving experience safer, greener and more comfortable as well as provide customized services. Continental is composed of five divisions. Many technologies are in the lead of the world, including brake system, powertrain, interior, tires and so on. Since 1994 when it entered Chinese market, it has 21 locations and over 1400 R&D engineers in China now. Moreover, Continental has been keeping cooperative relations with many domestic OEMs.
        Mr. Dong Yang firstly welcomed their visit. He said CAAM would organize more activities among automotive suppliers to hear their voice. Besides, both sides exchanged views on issues concerning energy consumption and new energy vehicles.
        Dr. Ralf Cramer thanked Mr. Dong Yang for his warm reception. Both CAAM and Continental expressed their willingness to carry out regular communications. The Continental side also showed their eager desire to participate in various activities organized by CAAM to jointly promote the healthy development of Chinese auto industry.
