On April 21st, 2014, the Third Session of the 7th Member’s Representative Assembly and Council Enlarged Meeting of CAAM was held in Beijing. Over 400 representatives of member units attended the meeting.

The meeting was jointly hosted by the Chairman of CAAM Mr. Xu Jianyi and the Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General Mr. Dong Yang.

Many related government officials attended the meeting as well. They were Deputy Director of NGO Management Bureau of the Ministry of Civil Affairs Mr. Li Yong, the Director of Industrial Association Office of SASAC Ms. Song Guanglan, and the Chairman of CMIF Mr. Wang Ruixiang. Besides, the Former Minister of Machinery Ministry and the Honorary Chairman of CAAM Mr. He Guangyuan also attended the meeting.

On the meeting, Mr. Dong Yang delivered the working report entitled on Strengthen Self-Construction and Promote Service Level to push forward the Sustainable Development of Chinese Automotive Industry (hereinafter referred to as Report). The Report summarized works done by CAAM in 2013 as well as listed working plans of 2014. 
        The Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Ye Shengji explained five proposals in detail.
