On April 20th, 2014 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2014) was opened at new Beijing China International Exhibition Center, themed with “Driving to a Better Future”. On that evening, Mr. Wan Gang, Vice Chairman of CPPCC and Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, went to Shunyi District to visit Auto China 2014, accompanied by the Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Dong Yang.
        Mr. Wan Gang visited stands of those domestic major auto manufacturers, including Geely, JAC, Chery, BYD, SAIC, BAIC, FAW, GAC, etc. He paid highly attention to Chinese brand vehicles and new energy vehicles to ask for details, like related data, performance and time to market.
        At Chang’an exhibiting stand, Mr. Wan Gang had a close look at 22 vehicles and 12 engines displayed. While visiting, he listened to the development of Chang’an in recent years, especially the development and demonstration of new energy vehicles.
        At Dongfeng stand, Mr. Wan Gang visited new Chinese brand models, including Aeolus AX7, Aeolus L60, Fxauto CM7, etc. He asked for their performance and time to market as well as brand planning of DFM for Chinese brands.
        The Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Shi Jianhua and Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Ms. Xu Yanhua accompanied to visit the auto show.
