On Oct. 27th, the Deputy Secretaries General Mr. Shi Jianhua and Ms. Xu Yanhua met with the guests from Embassy of the United States of America. They were the Economic Officer Mr. Michael Quigley, the Economic Specialist Mr. Li Hong, the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Programs Analyst Mr. Sun Liang and the Commercial Specialist Ms. Tian Hengyan. 

Mr. Michael Quigley was just officially took office in August this year. His visit to CAAM was aiming at better understanding the development of Chinese auto market, especially the development of new energy vehicles. Meanwhile, through this visit, he wished to establish a relationship with CAAM to build a communicating bridge for Sino-US auto markets.
        Mr. Shi Jianhua firstly introduced the basic situation of Chinese auto market. Then, Ms. Xu Yanhua gave a detailed introduction of Chinese new energy vehicles and related policies. Besides, both sides carried out discussions on charging facility construction, auto culture, and Sino-US cooperation on new energy vehicles as well as promoting Chinese enterprises investing in America.
        Moreover, both sides reached consensus on building relationships with American related associations or agencies to exchange views through the platform of USA Embassy, so as to promote the common development. .
        The Director of International Cooperation Department Mr. Chen Yuanzhi, Deputy Director of Technology Department Mr. He Peng and International Cooperation Department Officer Ms. Liu Zheng accompanied to attend this meeting.
