On Dec. 22nd to 25th, CAAM Vehicle-use Filter Committee held the 6th Member’s Assembly and General Election in Zibo, Shandong province. Over 70 member representatives attended this meeting. Some leaders also participated in, including the Secretary General of CICEIA Mr. Xing Min, the Vice Mayor of Zibo Mr. Zhuang Ming, the County Chief of Huantai County Mr. Jia Gang and the Director of CAAM Ms. Li Guixin.
        The meeting was hosted by the Deputy Director General of the 5th CAAM Vehicle-use Filter Committee Mr. Gao Yun.

On the meeting, the Secretary General of CAAM Vehicle-use Filter Committee Mr. Ge Deyi explained the recommended candidate Council Units. Ms. Li Guixin read out CAAM approval on transition plan. By secret ballot, the meeting elected 21 companies as the 6th Council Units.

The representatives carefully discussed the works of the Committee. They fully confirmed the efforts done by the 5th Council Meeting and its Secretariat as well as put forward some suggestions for the new Council. They thought in future, the Committee should focus on transformation and upgrading of small and medium companies, industrial standards implementation and revision, technical innovation, filter material research, brand cultivation, self discipline and member communication and cooperation.
        The representatives also visited Shandong Renfeng Special Material Company.
