The 1st China EV 100 Forum Held in Beijing

On Jan. 13th to 14th, the 1st China EV 100 Forum was held in Beijing, themed with “New Ecology of Industry Development”. The forum was organized by China EV 100 and co-organized by Tsinghua University, CAAM, CATARC and SAE-China.

Mr. Wan Gang, Vice Chairman of CPPCC and Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, delivered a keynote speech

The participants included MOST, MIIT, MOF, NDRC, Ministry of Transport and other related government leaders, domestic and foreign industrial experts, CEOs of major enterprises both at home and abroad as well as mainstream media.

Forum Site

The development of EV in China has become an important national policy. It is not just an industrial issue, but a systematic project involving energy, transport, business pattern, city planning, infrastructures, connected vehicles, intelligent transport and smart city. Themed with “New Ecology of Industry Development”, the forum is composed of closed-door meeting, main forum and six special topics. On the morning of Jan. 13th, the closed-door meeting was held, focusing on annual meeting and launching of international expert advisory committee. On that afternoon, the main forum explored ways of developing the whole industrial chain of EV and issued subject results.

On Jan. 14th, six special topics were held, including “EV into Family”, “Status and Development of Power Battery”, “Future of Low-Speed EV”, “New Energy Buses---From Demonstration to Industrialization”, “EV-Transport Integration and Internet” and “EV Infrastructures”.

Besides, the forum specially set up an area to display EV products.
