On June 23rd to 26th, CAAM held 2015 statistics working conference in Harbin. The conference was a good chance to communicate and discuss, aiming at asking for advice from enterprises and preparing for revision of statistical report system in the next half year. More than 50 representatives attended this conference, mainly from major auto (motorcycle included) manufacturers, auto parts enterprises and refitted vehicle companies. The Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Yao Jie participated in and delivered a speech.
        The Director of Information Department Mr. Chen Shihua firstly informed the statistical works carried out in the first half.
        On the conference, the representatives shared their own views on statistical forms, which offered good advice for revision.
        Mr. Yao Jie informed the economic performance of automotive industry in the first half year and analyzed the main factors to industrial slowdown. Meanwhile, he shared views on hot issues concerning SUV, new energy vehicles and Chinese brand.
        After the conference, the representatives visited Harbin Dongan Automotive Engine Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
