On Aug. 25th, the Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Dong Yang met with the guests from BorgWarner. They were the President and CEO Mr. James R. Verrier and the Vice President Mr. Tan Yuesheng.

Mr. James R. Verrier’s visit aimed at hearing CAAM’s thoughts on future development of Chinese automotive industry, including issues concerning market evolution and joint ventures.
        Mr. Dong Yang briefly introduced the status and future trends of Chinese automotive industry. Then, both sides exchanged views on Chinese brand vehicles and suppliers, international cooperation, geographical distribution, fuel consumption standards and new energy vehicles.
        Mr. James R. Verrier thanked CAAM for the warm reception and wished both sides could continue communication and strengthen cooperation.
