On August 25th, CAAM organized “The China Auto Parts Development Strategy and Planning Research” report results review conference in Beijing. Some government and auto industry participated in the conference, including the state council development research center, Dongfeng, Changan, BAIC, Tsinghua university, institute, CAAM and auto parts branch etc. Moreover, the Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Dong Yang also participated in. The meeting was hosted by the Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Ye Shengji.

The report was centered on "development of China's auto parts to sum up experience, face the problem, understand the present situation, grasp the trend, planning strategy and implementation path", which made system analysis for the current situation of the development of auto parts in China and the ecological environment, development foundation and challenges, needs and development trends, as well as put forward the strategic development goal, the path of development of auto parts, basic tasks and measures and so on.
        The executive vice chairman and secretary general of CAAM, Mr. Dong Yang made an important speech during the conference, he fully confirmed the Team's efforts and hard work, and also achieved the good results, as well as put forward concrete suggestions and requirements for the improvement.
        At the end of the meeting, the experts thought that the report of The China Auto Parts Development Strategy and Planning Research could provide developing policy and related decision-making reference for the government department of automotive industry and auto parts.
