On Nov. 24th, the working conference of local association work committee was held in Pinghu, Zhejiang province. The Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Wu Shaoming, the Deputy Secretaries General Mr. Ye Shengji and Ms. Liu Xiaomiao as well as the Secretary Assistants Mr. Xu Haidong and Mr. Chen Shihua attended the conference. The chairman, secretary general and related representatives from local associations participated in as well.
        The conference was hosted by the Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Ye Shengji.

Working Conference

Mr. Wu Shaoming firstly informed the status of automotive industry and briefed the main works done by CAAM over the past year. He stressed that the local associations, like branches, as one of the “two wings” of CAAM, played an important role in industrial development. Hence, he pointed out that the local associations and CAAM complement each other’s advantages to jointly promote the healthy development of the industry.

The Director of Member Services Department Ms. Li Guixin summarized the works done by the committee.
        Mr. Ye Shengji respectively introduced “Instruction on Playing the Functions of Local Automotive Associations (Discussion Paper)” and “Instruction on Statistical Work of Local Automotive Associations (Discussion Paper)”.
        Focusing on the two “instructions”, the representatives carried out hot discussions and raised their own opinions.

At the end, Mr. Ye Shengji made the summary and proposed the next-step works.
