On Nov. 21st, the preliminary meeting of Chinese Brand PC CEO Joint Committee (hereinafter referred as to P18) was held in Guangzhou. Some CAAM leaders attended the meeting, including the Executive Vice Chairman Mr. Dong Yang, the Vice Chairman and Secretary General Mr. Wu Shaoming, the Deputy Secretary General Mr. Shi Jianhua and the Chief Expert Mr. Pan Xufeng. The meeting was jointly hosted by Mr. Wu Shaoming and Mr. Li Chunrong, the General Manager of Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company.
        There were over 60 participants, including enterprise CEOs, CAAM secretariat leaders and other related representatives. On behalf of the co-organizer, the deputy general managers of GAC Motor Mr. Liang Weibiao and Mr. Xiao Yong participated in the whole event. After the meeting, the Chairman of GAC Group Mr. Zeng Qinghong and the General Manager of GAC Motor Mr. Yu Jun carried out a discussion with some representatives.

The meeting was organized by CAAM and co-organized by GAC Motor. On the meeting, the enterprises presented jointly signed Self-discipline Beijing Declaration on Chinese Brand PC Promoting (approved on Beijing Meeting). Besides, they discussed the preparation details for the launching of P18, like work regulation, organization structure and time and venue of the launching meeting.
        A speech entitled on Challenges and Opportunities of Chinese Brands in Transformation to High-end Oriented was given by GAC Motor on the meeting. The representatives carried out in-depth study and exchanged views on brand building of Trumpchi, product planning and enterprise management. After the meeting, they visited Trumpchi show room, the 2nd assembly line (put into production in this July) and GAC Engineering. Besides, they attended Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition and test driving of several models of Trumpchi.
