2017 Q2 ACI Released in Beijing

On Aug 11, China Auto Climate Index (ACI) was published in Beijing. The Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Ye Shengji released the Q2 data.
  According to auto climate assessment system, the following results could be seen:
  1. In Q2, the ACI was 42, in green area, symbolizing the normal operation of automotive industry.
  2. The leading indicators of automotive industry slightly lowered than that of in Q1, a decrease of 0.23 points could be seen. It is estimated that a smooth running could be achieved in Q3, with slightly lower speed comparing with Q2. The coincident indicators slightly decreased by 0.33 points. In general, the automotive industry was still in normal running.
  For ACI analysis:
  1. In Q2, the ACI was 42, in line with Q1, still in green area, symbolizing the good running of automotive industry.
  2. The coincident indicators reached 89.34 (the year of 2010 as 100), decreased by 0.33 points than that of in Q1. A slight decline could be seen.
  3. The leading indicators reached 89.06 (the year of 2010 as 100), lowered 0.23 points comparing with Q1.
  4. The lagging indicators reached 89.71 (the year of 2010 as 100), lowered 5.37 points than that of in Q1.
