Preface

China International RV Tourism Conference (hereinafter referred as "The Conference") is one of the international comprehensive conferences of RV tourism in China with joint foundation and held by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and the Chinese local government, which had already been successfully held twice in July 2016 and June 2017, and the Conference won the recognition from the domestic and foreign RV industry, especially from international guests.
　　The second conference held in June of 2017 in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, with around 300 domestic and foreign enterprises, more than 40,000 people participated, which lead the tourism consumption of nearly 10 million CNY, presenting the top Chinese RV conference all around the world. Meanwhile, the Conference has already been the largest scaled, the most influential, participation and professional RV tourism conference in China.
　　The aim of the conference is: to carry out Chinese industrial policy, to spread the achievements of industrial development, to broadcast RV culture, to spread the concept of RV touring, to practice the mode of the trade + tour on Silk Road, to carry out international industrial cooperation, products demonstration and international communication of RV owners, to promote the better utilization of the tourism resources and lead the development of Chinese RV OEM.
　　With the purpose of "Resource Sharing, Complementary Advantage, Win-Win Development", and the theme of "Trade + Tour on Silk Road Economic Belt", with "cultural diversity on Silk Road Economic Belt", and the "Culture and Trade on Silk Road" as the main part, and aim to "Visit, understand, discuss, tour and invest", which make the conference to be the promoter of RV industry and the platform for RV industry development.
　　The Third Conference will be held in Tangshan in Hebei Province on May 26th, 2018 (In case of any change, timely notification shall be presented on the official website www.caam.org.cn/news/ljc/). All the RV enterprises, RV industrial organizations, RV owners and fans from all over the world will receive the warmest welcome from us with unique enthusiasm and manner. 　　The Second China International RV Tourism Conference.
　　The Conference is the most authoritative, the largest scaled, the most influential international comprehensive events in China in RV industry, which is the practice of "One Belt One Road" national strategy. The event will enhance the communication and cooperation between Chinese and international RV enterprises, bring the foreign advanced concept to China and combine with Chinese economic growth and the rapid growing needs of Chinese people for tourism, which will change the Chinese traditional way and concept of tourism, make the growth of Chinese tourism from quantity to quality. With this object, we separated the Conference into two parts with innovation. Activities carried out based on Ningxia main venue is as the Domestic Part, and activities carried out on the "Silk Road" to Europe is as the International Part.
　　I. Domestic Part
　　The Grand Opening Ceremony of Second China International RV Tourism Conference is successfully held in Ningxia Shahu from June 9th, 2017 to June 14th. Camping activities held in Shahu is the first station.
　　The Conference is held by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, which provided not only the demonstration channel to know Chinese RV Camping development for the whole world, and also a platform to share the new concept and achievement from different countries. This is the grand conference for Chinese RV industry, which will definitely enhance the Chinese and International RV industry development.
　　The event shows the internationalization of Chinese RV Tourism Conference and Ningxia as the center in west China for self-driving event, which provided good opportunity and platform to Ningxia for investment promotion, to broadcast the national policy, to lead the healthy way of tourism.
　　The Conference attracted more than 300 RVs, around 1000 RV Fans, 300 RV and outdoor enterprises, nearly 40,000 people participated, which lead the tourism consumption of around 10 million CNY. During the opening ceremony, the guests and participants are invited to visit RVs and attend the RV information sharing, which provided all participants the opportunity to get involved in RV culture and enjoy RV life, therefore enjoy nature and leisure life.
　　With the theme of RV camping and new style tourism, the conference gathered RV owners, RV fans, campers together; at the same time, RV manufacturers, RV dealers, camping equipment related enterprises, campsites, tourism attractions are all involved. Thus, this activity has the contribution on RV culture promotion, RV industry development, RV camping ground spread, as well as national culture communication.
　　During the conference, various activities are held, including "Silk Road" RV tourism development summit forum, RV and related products exhibition, RV carnival. At the same time, events about RV test driving, RV cruise, and RV knowledge contest are also conducted.
　　Nowadays, China is actively promoting "One Belt, One Road" national strategy, aiming at making the ancient silk road to activity and vitality.
　　In this forum, industry elites, experts, campsite entrepreneurs and investors, industry association representatives, travel agencies, the media press are gathered together to discuss about RV camping industry development, intelligent tourism and its effect to "One Belt, One Road". The speech guests represented the highest level in RV industry. It is also an opportunity to discuss the issues during development and also future of RV camping industry.

　　II. Overseas Part
　　We also have some oversea activities carried out during the Conference. 23 RVs are organized to drive across the Silk Road starting from Beijing dated on April 23th, 2017, while 20 RVs organized by Dusseldorf Exhibition Agency drive across the Silk Road starting from Germany, dated on April 24th, 2017. The RV fleet from Beijing got the hospitality and support from the people along the way. The RV fleet from Germany arrived in Beijing on June 25th in order to attend China International RV Exhibition. The Silk Road trip shows cooperative interaction of RV fans, the sincerity of local RV industry and related organizations, the friendly attitude of German RV industry and related organizations. There is a sweeping trend that Chinese RV is stepping into the world RV industry, at the same time, the industry is developing beyond national boundaries with globalization.
　　RV industry, with over one hundreds years' history in developed countries, has been widely accepted in tourism, vacation, health keeping, retiring time. With the development of Chinese market's developing and opening up, especially the rapid development of the RV industry, the RV tourism has been gradually recognized by the Chinese and has become a life style in China.
　　At present, we are eager to learn the developed RV travel in Europe. It has great significance to act as an explorer and pioneer, introducing Chinese RV industry to the world. This conference is a historical moment in Chinese RV industry, opening the new era of RV tourism. On the other hand, the European friends are interested in exploring China, experiencing the Chinese RV culture and enjoying beautiful natural scenery with RV. This conference generated the experience and methods of RV culture exchange among people from different countries. It also broadcast the "Silk Road" idea worldwide. In turn, the traditional mode will soon turn to the new pattern of "Trade + Travel", taking a key position in the new era.
