By the end of Nov. 2022, there had been 4.949 million charging piles deployed acrossChina, up 107.5% compared to the cumulative volume reached by the same period of last year, according to the China Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Promotion Alliance (EVCIPA).

For the first eleven months of 2022, around 2.332 million charging piles (+231.2% YoY) were newly built in the country, including 584,000 public piles (+105.4% YoY) and 1.747 million private ones (+316.5% YoY). 

Last month, around 51,000 public charging piles were newly deployed inChina, representing a 58.6% year-on-year leap.

As of Nov. 2022, the volume of public charging piles inChinahad added up to 1.731 million units, including 732,000 DC piles and 999,000 AC piles, the EVCIPA reported after summarizing the data provided by members of the alliance.

There were around 53,000 public charging piles built per month on average within a year ended Nov. 2022.
