Bestune NAT Won the Title of “China’s Best Online Ride-hailing Car”

FAW Group Corporation (FAW) announced that its Bestune NAT, a customized EV for online ride-hailing market, was awarded the “China’s best ride-hailing car” at the third Chinese Mobility Service Industry Development Forum, which was held in Shanghai from December 3 to 4.

In order to meet the expectation of the people for “a better life and wonderful mobility” and respond to the national appeal of achieving carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, FAW Bestune specially developed the all-electric vehicle for Chinese online ride-hailing service market. Since its launch in April this year, the Bestune NAT has won the favor of customers with its advantages in improving the driving experience, reducing operational costs and reshaping safety standards.

The Bestune NAT significantly alleviates drivers’ long-term driving fatigue through seat optimization measures such as larger interior space, seat ventilation and electric spinal support. For passengers, the model provides exclusive designs such as electric side sliding door, larger leg space, rear central armrest and front passenger seat folding forward, which greatly improves the passgeners’ experience of riding, getting on and off the vehicle. 

The Bestune NAT also effectively reduced the operational cost for online ride-hailing model drivers, with its 419-km of range under NEDC cycle, 13.2kWh energy consumption per 100 kilometers, and an combined charging solutios of battery swapping within 3 minutes and ultra-fast charging within 30 minutes.

Bestune NAT also enjoys thoughtful safety features, such as 3H type high-strength steel body, autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system, forward collision warning (FCW) system, interior monitoring, one-click alarm device, and other active, passive and operational safety functions.
