Buick today reinforced its competitive position in the most popular midsize SUV segment in China with the introduction of the all-new Envision Plus.

Tailored for China, the Envision Plus is purposefully designed with expressive styling and segment-leading spaciousness matched with advanced technology and convenience features. It comes with a choice of five or seven seats, and its cargo-carrying versatility will suit the requirements of larger families and a range of transportation needs.

The Envision Plus is strongly contented with features that include:

A segment-leading 2,833-millimeter wheelbase, providing a comfortable level of seating for all occupants and a maximum trunk capacity of 1,712 liters.

A 2.0-liter turbocharged engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and a 48V mild hybrid system for spirited performance and better fuel efficiency.

A distinct driver-centric instrument panel that is tilted toward the driver for convenient operation and a better view of the color touchscreen.

GM’s proprietary VIP electrical architecture, enabling future connectivity and intelligent driving features.

Buick’s latest generation of the eConnect infotainment system featuring AI-based voice command and massive internet content for intuitive operation and personalized connectivity solutions.

Five variants of the Envision Plus with five exterior color and two interior color options are priced between RMB 229,900 and RMB 309,900. The Avenir trim, the ultimate expression of Buick refinement, is also available in the signature Avenir Merlot exterior color and two interior color options.

Distinct Exterior Styling

The Envision Plus is the most expressive and dramatic statement of Buick’s sculptural beauty design DNA, exemplified by sleek and elegant styling together with excellent proportions.

Its all-new front fascia comes with Buick’s signature modern horizontal grille, giving it a wide and confident look. Another striking design element is the airplane wing-inspired chrome moldings that horizontally stretch from the Buick badge to the lamps in the front and back, ensuring a high level of recognizability on the road. Adding to its agile appearance is a refreshed rear design, with sculptural surfaces complemented by chrome-plated dual exhausts.

The Envision Plus also comes standard with full LED headlamps and taillamps, which are available with eye-catching welcome and walkaway animation that adds to the high-tech premium feel.

Premium Riding Experience

The Envision Plus has a segment-leading size, with a length of 4,845 millimeters, width of 1,883 millimeters and height of 1,695 millimeters. This gives it a generous amount of interior space and a flexible seating layout.

The five-seater has best-in-segment space in back, with headroom of 988 millimeters and knee space of 115 millimeters. The seven-seater has adjustable backrests and Easy Entry functionality in the second row, resulting in easy access to its third row.

Designers created the Envision Plus to meet diverse needs for weekend getaways and long-distance travel. The five-seater’s 60/40 split second row can be folded flat with the cargo floor to expand room for large carry-on items.

The convenience and versatility are further enhanced with storage compartments under the distinct split-center armrest, a large pass-through storage area under the center console and a hidden storage compartment below the instrument panel.
