According to the statistics made by CAAM, the auto export was 67,800 units in June, down 4.2% than that of last month, and down 16.3% year on year. Among different types, the passenger cars were 37,800 units, down 0.8% than that of last month, and down 20% year on year; and the commercial vehicles were 30,000 units, down 8.2% than that of last month, and down 11.1% year on year.
For the first half, the export reached 385,100 units, down 13.5% year on year. To be specific, the passenger cars reached 213,700 units, down 18.7% year on year; the commercial vehicles were 171,300 units, down 6% year on year.
According to customs data sorted out by CAAM, in May, the total import of automobiles was 82,300 units, down 38.5% year on year, and the total export was 71,100 units, down 16.8% year on year. For the first five months, the accumulated imports reached 436,600 units, down 23.8% year on year; and the accumulated exports reached 334,100 units, down 9.0% year on year.
