According to the statistics made by CAAM, the auto export was 60,800 units in July, down 10.4% than that of last month, and down 15.3% year on year. Among different types, the passenger cars were 40,000 units, up 5.8% than that of last month, and up 1% year on year; while the commercial vehicles were 20,800 units, down 30.7% than that of last month, and down 35.4% year on year.
For the first seven months, the export reached 445,800 units, down 13.7% year on year. To be specific, the passenger cars reached 253,700 units, down 16.1% year on year; the commercial vehicles were 192,100 units, down 10.4% year on year.
According to customs data sorted out by CAAM, in June, the total import of automobiles was 95,300 units, down 22.3% year on year, and the total export was 64,900 units, down 8.1% year on year. For the first half, the accumulated imports reached 531,900 units, down 23.5% year on year; and the accumulated exports reached 399,000 units, down 8.9% year on year.
