In August, the sales and production of commercial vehicles witnessed growth comparing with that of last month while decline on yearly basis. This month, the production and sales were 228,100 and 246,000 units respectively, up 5.2% and 5% than that of last month. Comparing with last August, the production and sales were down 2.3% and 0.6% respectively.
        For the first eight months, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 2,211,700 and 2,235,100 units respectively, down 13.5% and 12.6% year on year. As seen by type, the production and sales of buses were down 1.5% and 1.8% than the previous year. Such figures for trucks were down 15.6% and 14.5%.
