In September, the sales and production of passenger cars witnessed quite growth comparing with that of last month; Compared with last year, the production is still lower than the same period (the passenger cars have continued four months levels lower than the previous year), the sales enjoyed a growth, the reduced inventory models are mainly passenger cars in September. This month, the production and sales were 1,620,700 and 1,751,200 units respectively, up 20.8% and 23.4% than that of last month, the production down 6% and the sales up 3.3% year on year. The remaining capacity models except SUV are lower than that of last year.
        For the first nine months, the production and sales of passenger cars reached 14,606,300 and 14,547,800 units respectively, up 1.5% and 2.8% year on year. But their growth rates decreased 9.8 percentage points and 7.4 percentage points than the previous year. As for the passenger cars by type, comparing with the same period of last year, SUV continued a high-speed growth, of which the production and sales were up 45.4% and 46.7%. MPV also enjoyed a quite growth, with an increase of 8.4% and 8.2% in production and sales respectively. As for cars, the production and sales witnessed decline, down 10.7% and 8.8% respectively. Moreover, the situation of crossed passenger cars was even worse, of which such figures decreased by 20% and 20.9%.
