According to the statistics made by CAAM, the auto export was 55,600 units in September, up 6.5% than that of last month, and down 28.9% year on year. Among different types, the passenger cars were 36,500 units, up 10.6% than that of last month, and down 24.7% year on year; while the commercial vehicles were 19,100 units, down 0.6% than that of last month, and down 35.7% year on year.
For the first nine months, the export reached 553,600 units, down 16.5% year on year. To be specific, the passenger cars reached 323,200 units, down 17.5% year on year; the commercial vehicles were 230,400 units, down 15.1% year on year.
According to customs data sorted out by CAAM, in August, the total import of automobiles was 78,600 units, down 37.1% year on year, and the total export was 58,800 units, down 17.4% year on year. For the first eight months, the accumulated imports reached 711,400 units, down 25.5% year on year; and the accumulated exports reached 528,500 units, down 12.1% year on year.
