According to the statistics made by CAAM, the auto export was 54,000 units in October, down 2.8% than that of last month, and down 26.5% year on year. Among different types, the passenger cars were 33,500 units, down 8% than that of last month, and down 23.2% year on year; while the commercial vehicles were 20,500 units, up 7.2% than that of last month, but down 31.2% year on year.
For the first ten months, the export reached 607,600 units, down 17.5% year on year. To be specific, the passenger cars reached 356,800 units, down 18.1% year on year; the commercial vehicles were 250,800 units, down 16.7% year on year.
According to customs data sorted out by CAAM, in September, the total import of automobiles was 108,800 units, down 2.4% year on year, and the total export was 67,500 units, down 25.4% year on year. For the first nine months, the accumulated imports reached 820,200 units, down 23.1% year on year; and the accumulated exports reached 596,000 units, down 13.8% year on year.
