The market share of Chinese brand passenger cars kept growth

In November, the total sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 921,400 units, up 26.9% year on year, accounting for 41.9% of the total sales of passenger cars. The market share increased 1.1 percentage points than the previous year. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 237,200 units, down 6.1% year on year, accounting for 20.3% of the total sales of cars, with a decrease of 3.3 percentage points on market share. On the contrary, the sales of Chinese brand SUV and MPV both enjoyed growth in sales volume and market share. The sales reached 395,000 units and 197,600 units respectively, up 88.1% and 11.0% year on year. Their market shares increased 4.7 percentage points and 1.8 percentage points, reaching 55.2% and 90.5% respectively.
        As for the first eleven months, the accumulated sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 7,678,300 units, up 14.1% year on year. The market share increased 3.0 percentage points than the previous year, reaching 41.1%. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 2,158,600 units, down 11.8% year on year, with a decrease of 1.3 percentage points on market share, reaching 20.7%. On the contrary, the sales of Chinese brand SUV and MPV both enjoyed growth in sales volume and market share. The sales reached 2,896,800 units and 1,619,000 units respectively, up 82.8% and 11.1% year on year. Their market shares increased 9.3 percentage points and 2.5 percentage points, reaching 53.4% and 88.3% respectively.
