For the first two months, the accumulated sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 1,662,000 units, up 12.6% year on year. The market share increased 3.1 percentage points than the previous year, reaching 46%. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 362,000 units, down 21.2% year on year, with a decrease of 2.3 percentage points on market share, reaching 20.4%. On the contrary, the sales of Chinese brand SUV and MPV both enjoyed growth in sales volume and market share. The sales reached 763,000 units and 408,000 units respectively, up 64.1% and 16.8% year on year. Their market shares increased 3.4 percentage points and 2.6 percentage points, reaching 60% and 93.7% respectively.
