According to the statistics made by CAAM, the auto export was 54,000 units in April, down 5.5% than that of last month, and down 12.9% year on year. Among different types, the passenger cars were 34,000 units, down 8.2% than that of last month, but up 5.2% year on year; while the commercial vehicles were 20,000 units, down 0.5% than that of last month, and down 32.5% year on year.
For the first four months, the export reached 190,000 units, down 22.4% year on year. To be specific, the passenger cars reached 121,000 units, down 11.7% year on year; the commercial vehicles were 69,000 units, down 36% year on year.
According to customs data sorted out by CAAM, in March, the total import of automobiles was 93,000 units, down 4.9% year on year, and the total export was 58,000 units, up 0.5% year on year. For the first three months, the accumulated imports reached 209,000 units, down 18.9% year on year; and the accumulated exports reached 148,000 units, down 24.4% year on year. Their decrease rates narrowed 8.9 percentage points and 10.4 percentage points respectively comparing with the first two months.
