In April, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 336,000 and 343,000 units respectively, down 11% and 10.6% than that of last month. Comparing with last April, the production and sales were up 3.1% and 5.4% respectively. As seen by type, the production and sales of buses were down 5.3% and 6.9% than the previous year. Such figures for trucks were up 4.6% and 7.5%.
        This month, the sales of trucks increased 7.5% than a year earlier, of which the heavy duty, medium and mini were up 17.3%, 17.8% and 40.0% respectively, while the light duty was down 6.6%.
        For the first four months, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 1,223,000 and 1,202,000 units respectively, up 0.6% and 2.7% year on year. As seen by type, the production and sales of buses were down 7.6% and 8.4% than the previous year. Such figures for trucks were up 2% and 4.7%.
