According to the statistics made by CAAM, the auto export was 57,000 units in March, up 61.7% than that of last month, and down 18.7% year on year. Among different types, the passenger cars were 37,000 units, up 61.8% than that of last month, but down 5.7% year on year; while the commercial vehicles were 20,000 units, up 61.4% than that of last month, and down 35.1% year on year.
For the first quarter, the export reached 136,000 units, down 25.6% year on year. To be specific, the passenger cars reached 87,000 units, down 16.7% year on year; the commercial vehicles were 49,000 units, down 37.5% year on year.
According to customs data sorted out by CAAM, in February, the total import of automobiles was 55,000 units, down 8.4% year on year, and the total export was 45,000 units, down 28.3% year on year. For the first two months, the accumulated imports reached 117,000 units, down 27.4% year on year; and the accumulated exports reached 90,000 units, down 34.8% year on year.
