According to the statistics made by CAAM, the auto export was 56,000 units in July, down 17.4% than that of last month, and down 7.9% year on year. Among different types, the passenger cars were 36,000 units, down 17.2% than that of last month, and down 11.2% year on year; while the commercial vehicles were 20,000 units, down 17.8% than that of last month, and down 1.4% year on year.
For the first seven months, the export reached 370,000 units, down 17.1% year on year. To be specific, the passenger cars reached 235,000 units, down 7.2% year on year; the commercial vehicles were 134,000 units, down 30.1% year on year.
According to customs data sorted out by CAAM, in June, the total import of automobiles was 93,000 units, down 2.8% year on year, and the total export was 62,000 units, down 4.2% year on year. For the first half, the accumulated imports reached 474,000 units, down 10.9% year on year; and the accumulated exports reached 347,000 units, down 13.1% year on year.
