According to the statistics made by CAAM, in July, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 38 thousand units and 36 thousand units respectively, increasing 93.4% and 98.1% year on year. To be specific, the production and sales of BEV reached 27 thousand units and 26 thousand units, increasing 127.0% and 144.2% year on year; and such figures for PHEV were 11 thousand units and 10 thousand units, increasing 41.4% and 33.3% year on year.
        For the first seven months, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 215 thousand units and 207 thousand units respectively, increasing 119.8% and 122.8% year on year. To be specific, the production and sales of BEV reached 162 thousand units and 153 thousand units, increasing 156.4% and 160.9% year on year; and such figures for PHEV were both 54 thousand units, increasing 53.7% and 57.6% year on year.
