In October, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 299,000 and 306,000 units respectively, plat in production while up 3.4% in sales than that of last month. Comparing with last October, the production and sales were up 3.5% and 7.4%, with growth slowing. As seen by type, the production and sales of buses were down 6.9% and 12.9% than the previous year. For trucks, such figures were up 5.6% and 11.5%.
        For the first ten months, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 2,911,000 and 2,921,000 units respectively, up 4.9% and 4.6% year on year. As seen by type, the production and sales of buses were down 7.0% and 8.5% than the previous year. Such figures for trucks were up 7.3% and 7.2%.
        In October, the sales of trucks increased 11.5% than a year earlier, of which the heavy duty, medium and mini were up 54.0%, 0.4% and 10.4% respectively; while the light duty was down 1.5%.
