In January, the auto export was 58,000 units, down 26% than that of last month, but up 31% year on year, keeping growth on yearly basis. Among different types, the passenger cars were 43,000 units, down 26% than that of last month, but up 53.5% year on year; while the commercial vehicles were 16,000 units, down 26% than that of last month, and down 6.6% year on year.
According to customs data sorted out by CAAM, last December, the total import of automobiles was 119,000 units, up 7.4% year on year, and the total export was 77,000 units, up 38.1% year on year. For the last year, the accumulated imports reached 1,077,000 units, down 2.3% year on year; and the accumulated exports reached 810,000 units, up 7.2% year on year.
